Hi, my name is John Williams. I get to be my wife’s husband, our kids’ dad, and since I was 18 years old, I’ve been a preaching, student, and worship pastor. I love Jesus. I grew up without knowing my dad, still don’t, and my goal in life has been to be a faithful husband to my wife and dad to my kids and follower of my Savior! It’s not always easy. There have been times when I have missed it completely, but as time goes on and God’s grace prevails, those around me, especially those closest to me, are happier people.

I’m prone to write about anything here, whether it be matters pertaining to the church, faith, doctrine, and theology, to anywhere from tech, guitar’s, boating, and life as a husband and dad.

The thing about Jesus is that it’s not just that I’m a better lover of my wife and father to my boys. The thing about Jesus is that God has loved me past all the junk in my life and times when I’ve just flat out missed it to send His Son to suffer and die the cruel death that I should’ve died after living the perfect life that I cannot live and then from there rising from the dead giving me hope that like Him, I too may one day join Him in Heaven for all eternity. I’m looking forward to that and I’m pretty stoked that I get to live my life in view of all He has done for me.
